Radial Arm Machines (Park, Sawing System, Thibault)?

Of you guys/gals that have Radial Arm Machines in your shops what would you say are the advantages/disadvantages to the brand (http://maplered.com) you own. I've read the many stories of being able to do it by hand (http://maplered.com) , but I also read into that - that it takes being an experienced fabricator. So without much experience it looks like the radial machines would be good for doing sink work and (http://maplered.com) possibly some in shop scratch repair if the machine can top polish. What else are people using them for? In glass we use one for doing all pattern polishing and (http://maplered.com) pattern beveling.

Thoughts?
